H.R. 3590 was entitled "Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009." The Bill was passed by the House and sent to the Senate on October 7, 2009. The Democrat Senate Amneded H.R. 3590 on December 24, 2009 and re-titled it "An Act to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to modify the first-time homebuyers credit in the case of members of the Armed Forces and certain other Federal employees, and for other purposes." They removed its 3 pages and insertd their 2,490 pages of the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act"
On January 5, 2010 H.R. 3590, now entitled "Patient Protection and Affordabvle Care Act" was passed by House with 219 Democrats voting "Yes" and all the Republicans voting "No." It was signed into law March 10, 2010 by Barack Obama
